Ayra Starr’s growing appeal in the United Kingdom has prompted a change to the London leg of her upcoming Starrgirl World Tour, with organisers moving the concert to a venue more than twice the size of the original location.
The Nigerian singer, signed to Mavin Records, is scheduled to perform in London on February 2, 2027. The show was initially planned for the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, which accommodates approximately 2,000 people, but has now been moved to the O2 Academy Brixton, a larger venue with a capacity of 4,921.
The decision follows reports that more than 11,000 fans joined the presale queue for the London concert. The turnout points to substantial interest in the performance, with the initial venue unable to accommodate the level of demand indicated by the presale figures.
The relocation gives more fans an opportunity to attend the show while placing the London concert on a larger stage. It also adds to the growing international profile of Nigerian artistes whose live performances are attracting audiences beyond the country’s borders.
London will host the final performance of the tour’s European leg before Ayra Starr takes the Starrgirl World Tour to North America in March 2027, extending the tour across two major international markets.
Fans hoping to secure tickets for the London date are expected to have entered the general sales phase on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 10 a.m. British Summer Time.
The venue change places Ayra Starr’s London concert among the latest examples of strong audience demand influencing the scale of Nigerian music events overseas. With the move from a 2,000-capacity venue to one accommodating 4,921 people, the singer’s upcoming performance now has room for a considerably larger audience.
