In the spirit of change and to ensure transparency, every financial transactions of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation would be published as from September 2015.
According to the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr Ibe Kachikwu, all financial transactions of the NNPC would be published periodically starting from September.
He made this known during a town-hall meeting with employees at the NNPC Towers in Abuja on Tuesday.
The new NNPC is expected to witness major changes with transparency as the new watchword.
“I want transparency. Beginning from next month, I want to be able to publish what the company makes. I have told the President that as from next week, I will be sending him weekly reports” - Group Managing Director NNPC, Dr Ibe Kachikwu
