Your message and brand is clearly anchored on distinction. One of your quotes is; ‘Excellence isn’t an illusion it’s a reality’. Why this quote? And what drives your message of excellence and distinction?
Onyi: As a young man, I lived a life of no purpose and mediocrity. Now I’m a man of distinction, I’ve made mediocrity and the comfort zone a sworn enemy. The reality of excellence is real and tangible hence my quote.
You have a laudable track record. In June this year, you became an advisor for a UK organisation called Founders4Schools. As a distinguished entrepreneur, how do you manage to combine life coaching, conference speaking, writing books and articles and also inspiring and teaching so many people?
Onyi: For me, a key to all this is time management and multi-tasking. What distinguishes the great entrepreneurs we respect, regard and recognize is their ability to effectively multi task.

How many books have you written so far?
Onyi: I’ve written 10, starting on my 11th and have self-published two. My two books are titled; Hitting The Target: A 12 Month Guide To Distinction and The Doorway to Distinction: 200 Quotes To Inspire You To Reach New Levels Of Excellence.
Do you distribute globally or are your books only sold locally in the UK?
Onyi: Yes I do and they are sold in the UK too. Hitting The Target: A 12 Month Guide To Distinction is sold out but, The Doorway to Distinction: 200 Quotes To Inspire You To Reach New Levels Of Excellence can be purchased through my website and through Amazon Kindle too.
We have read many of your quotes on social media and they are very motivational, inspiring and thought provoking. What is your favorite quote?
Onyi: My favorite quote is; 'An entrepreneur is a leader of excellence, trailblazer and pioneer who constantly brings change to their generation'. ~ Onyi Anyado.
You are very passionate about entrepreneurship and especially empowering and equipping African entrepreneurs. Could you tell us more?
Onyi: Yes. I realize I live and breathe entrepreneurship and also epitomize my definition of who an entrepreneur is and with Africa on the rise, it is critical African entrepreneurs are taught and coached what it means to think global and generational and also fly the flag of distinction for their country and continent too.
How do you see your influence in the next 5 years?
Onyi: Great question. In five years’ time, it will be 2020 and I will be respected, regarded and recognized as a global thinker whose message of distinction is teaching people how to excel in 2025.
