Super Falcons of Nigeria thrashed their Rwandan counterpart 4-1 yesterday away from home in Kigali. This win very much brings the Falcons closer to qualifying for the 2014 Africa Women Championship (AWC) to be played later this year in Namibia. This needed triumph effectively puts the Falcons on the right track in their journey to return to the zenith of Africa Women football having lost their Africa women title to Equatorial Guinea two years ago.
Coach of he Super Falcons- Edwin Okon was however, not quite excited with the performance of her girls.She insisted that the girls should have scored far more than the goals scored due to the number of clear cut chances in the match.
