The Nigerian Police Force has urged Nigerians to stop paying for tint permits for their vehicles and to report any officer who demands money from them for the permit.This was disclosed in Abuja on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, by the Police Force Public Relations Officer, Olabisi Kolawole.
''We are saying that if people were paying before, they should not do that any longer. The police will not relent in their effort to carry out their duty. I just want to let you know that this current police administration will not condone any act of public disorder''
PRO Olabisi Kolawole also mentioned that the list of authorized vehicles eligible to use sirens has been released and henceforth, arrest would be made on all unauthorized persons using vehicle sirens in the country.
