An exciting footballing crescendo is been expected today at the 2013 Finals of the FIFA U-17 football World tournament between Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets and Mexico.
The Golden Eaglets so far has proven beyond doubts
that they are more than ready and capable to once again lift this Cup having
won this same title in 1985,1993 and 2007.
An earlier encounter with Mexico at the opening
stages of this year’s competition witnessed the Golden Eaglets thrashing
Mexico, the current defending champions by 6-1.
However, Golden Eaglets coach, Manu Garba has
expressed a caution saying that he expects the Mexicans to fight back this time
around.
“Mexico would be looking for revenge but we are
going to win this match because we want to set the record as the best team in
the world at this level. We respect Mexico for what they have been able to do
at this World Cup but our prayer is that God would crown our effort tomorrow”
says coach Garba.
The Match is expected to be played at 5pm Nigerian time later today.
